I was born and raised in Melita Manitoba and I’ve always loved helping people, especially kids! I completed my Bachelor of Arts at the University of Manitoba in 2006 and then my Masters in Counselling Psychology at Athabasca University in 2016. I’ve spent the past ten years working with kids ages 5-18 within the school system and I am ready and looking forward to branching out and working with adults as well.

Both my Degree and Masters were completed via online and distance learning due to living in a rural location. Living in rural Manitoba has many wonderful benefits but access to some resources are limited, I am extremely excited and proud to be offering this valuable service in the rural community that I have called home for 46 years!

I am certified with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association and I am Canadian Counselling Certified (CCC). I have ten years experience working within a k-12 school environment working with issues such as anxiety, anger, body image, conflict resolution, communication skills, depression and social skills. I tend to use CBT, DBT, solution focused and mindfulness approaches in my sessions.
